I have dozens of Alexa compatible devices in my home. Lights, switches, sockets, plugs, etc. I was one of the first users and I feel I have a good understanding of how everything works. This is the second Sengled product I've tried. I thought they would be easy to set up since they are partners with Revain. The first was Bluetooth, which was great in theory because it didn't require any third-party apps. Couldn't get these bulbs to work reliably at first, they always worked at first then went out never to be plugged in again. These bulbs looked more promising since they had Wi-Fi. The app was pretty easy to use, although I hate creating accounts for smart devices that are supposed to "just work". Anyway set up, and on the first day everything worked perfectly. The second day - the light bulb loses its connection. I turn off the switch and turn on the switch on the lamp. Now the light flashes intermittently. Aggravating. Toggle the switch on and off 5 times to reset it. Find the lightbulb again in the app, plug it back in, Alexa appears and tells me there is a new lightbulb. Relax. Only now he doesn't answer right away. I'll try a few more things to see if I can get these bulbs to work reliably and if I find anything I'll let you know. I expect this review to be deleted if I don't give it 5 stars, so I'm giving it 5 stars even though I really don't like them at the moment.
