No room for a tie? They work great!

Required to attach my canoe to the front of my Mazda3. Rear is no problem. There are large loops on the back for attaching a rope. On the front, I found places to attach ropes on either side due to the plastic on the underside of the front of the car. But I saw it on YouTube videos and thought it would be a good solution and it is. Driving down the highway at 100 km/h, I saw no movement under the hood. these works.
