Review on Cree Lighting Connected Bluetooth Changing: Seamless Illumination Control and Connectivity by Kurt Virden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is new. best led bulbs

This review applies to both lightbulbs and software. They play together. (I also have some white and colored TP-Link bulbs.) These 3 bulbs have only been around for a week or two and only 1 of 3 is connected so far. (I gave the other 3 to a friend for his studio.) The bulb is good. This RGBW bulb is brighter than my original TP-Link TL-120 color bulb which I believe was RGB only. (И которая с тех пор была обновлена до более новой модели, которую я еще не купил. Я полагаю, теперь также RGBW. Хотя в два раза дороже, чем эти.) Приложение заняло у меня некоторое время, чтобы понять, That. maybe i'm getting old Selecting a lightbulb opens the control screen. When the light is off, the feature selections are printed in faint type across the bottom of this screen, indicating inactivity. Switching on the lamp shows you the currently active function. By selecting "Dim" you can control the lighting individually and change the lamp settings. Choose between white and color setting for the colored light bulb. Basic, most direct device control. Selecting Scenes gives you a set of pre-formatted presets (14) that you can modify. The first group of 6 appears to make adjustments based on white, while the other two groups of 6 and 8 make adjustments based on color. Not sure if you can change the mode of these presets. (White vs. Color.) You can change the scene names, but I haven't figured out if you can change the image associated with the scene, or if you can add or remove scenes. (I probably won't be using the blue and white Hanukkah theme too much. And while I can change the settings and name, what about the image on that 'button'?) In any 'preset' scene you can You have a static color/warmth image, or you can switch between 2 or more color/warmth settings (in the same mode: color or white). For example, I modified my "Party" scene to cycle through 8 out of 3 colors. A plugged in lightbulb seems to lose connection to WiFi from time to time, which is currently about 6 feet away. Last example, last night I gave someone 3 of these lightbulbs and showed them the app. Being two cities away from me, I clicked on the 'Party' scene - it worked and when I returned home it was on. As expected. But then when I got home I was able to turn it off. Connection interrupted. The drop in signal also seemed to occur a few times when adjusting scene settings. Correction? You need to go to the settings of this light and select "Check device network". I often get a message about a "failed" or "bad" signal. I just hit him again. After the second or third time he is suddenly happy again. Find out. Maybe it's not good that I know how it works, only a week's ownership so good. (Maybe code it so that the network check does the process 3 times on its own? Save me that extra work?) Played well with Alexa the two times I've verbally commanded it so far. FYI I wanted a different colored bulb and bought this based on a non-Revain review. This is after having previously bought another one here which was disappointing and was returned. This lamp was rated as the best economical (intelligent, colored) lamp in this test. If they calm down after I stop tweaking the settings and just use them - if they stop losing touch - then I'd say I'd probably buy them again.

Pros
  • VOICE CONTROL: Works with Alexa and Google Assistant devices for full voice control.
