Oh my god this soundbar was a huge hassle to set up. I first tried connecting the TV to the soundbar using the included optical cable. After nearly an hour of trying to get it to work, I tried using the optical cable I had for my old Polk soundbar. Nothing! I gave up and connected my TV to the soundbar with the RCA cable that came with it. God, that doesn't work either! Another 30 minutes of wasted farting with this connection. I finally connected the soundbar to my Fire Stick via Bluetooth. My TV isn't that old and worked with my Polk soundbar via an optical cable, but it obviously doesn't have the settings this soundbar is looking for! Now it sounds good, but not in the way I would like it to. to set it up.
