Very mixed bag suitable for small animals
This product is a mixed bag if you want to use it for chinchillas. The L-shaped protrusion is fine, but the paddle protrusions and square protrusion only have one pin to connect to the cage and are incredibly thin. In a chinchilla cage they just slip through when you try to attach them. Even when I was able to fix it, the square platform tilted every time he jumped on it. I didn't feel safe using it so I removed it from the cage. If you have a smaller pet they will fit, but for chinchillas I recommend you choose other ledges.
