Review on πŸ›οΈ HOSPITOLOGY PRODUCTS Mattress Encasement - Bed Bug & Dust Mite Proof - Queen Size - Waterproof & Hypoallergenic - Zippered Sleep Defense System by Crystal Reed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These covers are easy to install, won't wrinkle and are bed bug proof!

To be honest I was afraid they would be uncomfortable and/or repel bed bugs. And what's worse, at night they make my husband even hotter than he is, but they are perfect! I know this is long but I think it's worth reading. , & started considering options. I've read many reviews on many products, but they basically all contained the same thing: good reviews (people who seemed to know how to put a blanket on and usually didn't have bed bugs) and a few bad reviews. (People who put it on incorrectly or treated bed bugs with nothing but blankets, which is not possible). Other reviews revolved almost entirely around whether the various mattress pads are waterproof. Having been struggling with a bed bug problem I didn't care if they were waterproof but caught them early enough that we really needed shelters ASAP to prevent the spread of the infestation and isolate the problem, so that it would be easier to eliminate them completely. . In any case, I looked at about 24 different covers, looked at photos, read information from companies about them and, above all, looked at reviews. None of them could convince me one way or the other. When I stumbled upon Hospitable I almost didn't stop as the prices are very reasonable. My husband said just check them out as he was upset that I wouldn't pick one so I checked them out, read the reviews and enlarged the product images. When I read the description I noticed it said "lab tested" so I also checked the lab which was real. So I immediately ordered 2, one for my futon and one for my daughter's double bed. When they arrived they were very soft and the zipper was tiny which is good because then the smallest bed bugs can't get through. If you don't study bed bugs, you can't eradicate them. Also, the eggs and baby are almost entirely transparent until they're fed and grown, and they're as small as a grain of salt, making them very difficult to see. In any case, as I said, the covers were very soft, so great. They protect against mistakes. The cases fit very well. My husband and I put the futon cover on in 4 minutes, together we didn't even have to lift it much, we just lifted it as we put it on. It was very easy. I was able to dress my daughters myself, she has 2 old thin twin mattresses and a foam topper about 1 inch thick. I was able to fit all 3 in the double sized suitcase I got for them alone. Along with these covers, I used Home Depot all-natural spray and a giant bag of diatomaceous earth. Since then we haven't had any more problems. And while they aren't really waterproof they are very easy to clean with a damp cloth and some 409 (had to do this 2 days ago when my dog vomited it) but you can even just use a sanitizing wipe. They can also be machine washed or washed, but bed bugs are best left with a blanket for at least 12-16 months as they can survive for long periods without food. I hope this helped and good luck. :)
