Dogs seem to enjoy eating it and licking the bowl clean. I was concerned at first because one of my dogs had a history of showing some dislike for certain fish-based foods. The small dry food works well for my 40 lb dogs. The food definitely feels high quality and not crumbly or powdery like some other brands. The crumb will look shiny or oily, which I think is a good thing. Dogs tolerate food and eat it with pleasure.
