I updated this review. Your mileage will likely vary based on usage. For me I had 3 units and after about a year one failed completely (the impeller's plastic shaft rubbed against the steel support rod and broke) and the other two became very noisy due to the same component wearing out. If you need it for occasional use to pump water with a decent stroke then this pump is for you. If you need reliable, 24/7 operation, choose something sturdier. It's a pretty good pump before it wears out though. It can push water almost 100 feet through a 1/4" ID pipe. The packages I received contained everything except a 12V DC power supply, including 3/8" ID brass pipe fittings, O-rings, power connector, hose clamps., and even a roll of teflon tape.The rise seems to be about 2 meters, but it can work with small diameter tubing, which is nice.This type of pump can't be self-priming, so it has to either work as a submersible pump or always be below the level of the tank.
