Review on πŸ”Œ Certified Cable Matters Dual 4K 60Hz Thunderbolt 3 Dock Adapter: DisplayPort, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet (Not Compatible with USB-C Ports Without Thunderbolt Logo) by Kendrick Dooley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No frills, just works

Works great with my Dell XP15 using Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10 with dual 4K 60Hz monitors, gig ethernet and a USB port ( Keyboard). Hey, no drivers required. GigE interface via USB3. The transmission throughput is at full speed, but the reception speed drops to around 700 Mbit/s, which is typical for USB3. More reliable and portable than the fancy Thunderbird dock, but not as versatile. Just like a USB hub. Just plug it in and it works. What else can you say here?

Pros
  • Mac and Windows Compatible Thunderbolt Hub for computers with Thunderbolt 3 port and graphics cards that support dual external displays; Thunderbolt 3 Dock delivers uncompressed 24-bit color and authentic audio with native DisplayPort 1.2; Miniature Thunderbolt Multiport Adapter weighs just ounces for portability
