An affordable, versatile tablet

HAOVM's MediaPad P20 comes with Android 10 and 3GB RAM. That's 64GB of storage, 14% of which is used immediately. Around 55 GB is available for your apps, games and media. There is an expansion slot that supports an additional 128GB via microSD. Running the P20 is a pretty standard Android experience. Sign up, connect and an available update will appear immediately. With 1920 x 1200 (HD) pixel range, you get good text size options in settings. (see pictures). I ran some CPU benchmarks on dual ARM clusters (4 cores @ 1.20GHz and 4 cores @ 1.6GHz). The Geekbench results were 148 for single score and 786 for multi-core score. This will seem incredibly bad compared to today's phones which are in the 800-950 (single) range and multi-core scores in the 3k range. Don't worry, it loads fast and can run apps, it just takes a little longer to load large games. But don't expect thousands of dollars when you're looking at a $100 device! Audio playback was as expected, but with headphones you get good bass and much better media playback. The display is bright and clear. A well-sized battery (6000 mAh) and a decent 13 MP main camera (5 MP front camera). Listen, never/never hold this or any other tablet to take pictures at a concert, you look stupid. What I really like is that it doesn't leave greasy fingerprints on the back. Front. As with any touch device, have a tissue handy! Back to the battery, modern Android tablets are very efficient, leaving this device on standby for 5 days. When I came back to check, I found the battery had 42% left! At an incredible price, this is a great entry-level or utility tablet that easily scores 5 stars. Will sell like hot cakes for gift season.
