Review on 🐦 Multi-functional Acrylic Glass Bird Feeder and Window Mount: Pet Monitoring, Security Camera Holder, Planter, Organizer by Rachel Ellis

SAME AS EXPENSIVE MODELS

This is a really great feeder, . durable thick plexiglass construction. The seed tray has two compartments for different seeds, but the birds will ruin everything anyway. What I have read and caused negative reviews are suckers. There are two things to consider when attaching to glass from the outside of a window. #one. The outside window must be really clean. Not just wash, . I use ammonia [1/2 cup per gallon of warm water] and then rinse with vinegar mixed 1:1 with a damp towel. Let it air dry as if you were using a fresh towel, there may be fabric softener on it which will leave a film on the glass although not visible, this will prevent the suction cups from sticking. over time.#2. Boil the suction cups for 5-10 minutes as this will improve adhesion and remove surface oils which in turn will affect function on glass. USE AN APPROPRIATE TEMPERATURE - IT MUST DEPEND ON THE FEEL AFTER REMOVAL FROM THE HOT WATER. Don't wash them. and at the same time attach them to the window pane WITHOUT FEED, making sure to press the center of the cup so that the moisture comes out at the edges. After about a minute, attach the feeder. [You can also place the cups on the feeder and then attach them, but your fingers will get in the way]. You must keep in mind. They are suckers and they are open to air temperature, pollution and direct sunlight. So keeping an eye on them is a feature to keep in mind. Just check them every time the feeder fills up and there shouldn't be any problems. There is no suction cup of any form that I know of that is now affected by elements, expansion and contraction, but I have found the above to be the best way to attach suction cups to outer glass. BY THE WAY; I live in New England and feed birds and wildlife year round.
