My cat has a severe chicken allergy which is irritating her IBD and causing her to throw up all over the place. I ordered the cod, herring and spinach recipe and expected it to contain cod and herring. Guess what the second ingredient is? CHICKEN. This is followed by cod and chicken broth, chicken liver, chicken heart. Lots of chicken for a recipe that was supposed to be fish based. So, fair warning to anyone in a similar situation: although the label says NO poultry by-products, remember it contains CHICKENS. Stay away. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it until I ate a few cans. Shame on me for not checking the label immediately before feeding, but shame on Purina for advertising the way they do. Honestly, it's bullshit that Purina is selling these items without a clear and accurate label visible on Revain prior to purchase.
