Purina Beyond Natural Wet Adult Cat Food

First of all I wouldn't call it a pie, it's small tiny particles molded into a shape and lots of liquid. It falls apart very easily and the jar was only 3/4 full, certainly not 3 oz. My cat liked it but I won't buy it again. I ordered 12 packs but in the end I received 1 can in one package. Well I got it and then I bought her another Purina Beyond Chicken and Sweet Potato and it's actually a pie she loves it and I'm going to continue with that.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Only available in white

High quality - nutritious and should be delicious!

After carefully reading the labels in PET SMART before purchasing, we tried several, one jar at a time, and injected slowly. If your child chokes on food, serve small portions - I gotta do it anyway! My 19 year old cat loves it and it helps manage her weight and coat. Vet approved this despite some older issues (check with yours). As always, introduce new food slowly so as not to upset digestion (both sides). It's a bit pricey, but it provides the essential nutrients that we couldn't get with…

Includes CHICKEN for cats

My cat has a severe chicken allergy which is irritating her IBD and causing her to throw up all over the place. I ordered the cod, herring and spinach recipe and expected it to contain cod and herring. Guess what the second ingredient is? CHICKEN. This is followed by cod and chicken broth, chicken liver, chicken heart. Lots of chicken for a recipe that was supposed to be fish based. So, fair warning to anyone in a similar situation: although the label says NO poultry by-products, remember it…

Charlie says he loves my Beyond cat food!

I gave this food five stars for the taste, not because I tried it myself but after consulting my cat Charlie. After I ordered it, Charlie stopped eating the pie I used to give him from a different brand of his cat food. When this food arrived I planned to either give it to my daughter's cats or donate it to a local animal shelter. One night I decided to give it a try and when I opened the tin it looked like a classic pie but I gave it to him anyway and to my surprise he cleaned his plate and…

Replaced by Fancy Feast. . . .

When the local grocery store started selling Beyond dry and canned cat food and it had good coupons, I decided to give it a try; although my cats have refused grain free kibble in the past and canned Beyond is more expensive than Fancy Feast. Well this time they didn't turn down fish and chicken type kibble and everyone loves the Beyond canned food I've tried. . . who has never been a duck or a pheasant. . . especially these four varieties of Simple Origins. They're milder than the less…

The same quality as expensive brands, but at an affordable price

I consider myself a very demanding consumer. I read all labels, check ingredients and compare prices. We have a cat who isn't very picky about taste, but we can still tell what she likes best. Purina Beyond Grain Free canned cat food is now our preferred brand. We've tried several other grain-free brands (which you can find on store shelves alongside this one). This brand has the best selection of ingredients and variety of flavors in its price range. We occasionally buy the I and Love and You…
