I love this stool. Yes, it's a bit big for a normal table height, and it will get easier with practice. I'm 5ft 5in so this might be easier for me to do than for a taller person. I do not know. The stool keeps me in a better position so my back doesn't hurt and I stay more alert and the butt pillow is uncomfortable because it's stiff but I would trade it for a sore back any day. This stool suits my posture so well that I am very glad I bought it. I am awaiting delivery of my standing desk which I bought to go with it and am currently using it with a traditional style desk and I think it's great.
