This backpack is exactly what I was looking for, something slim and simple to take to work and everything I need works. The material is a little stiff, which I think makes it waterproof, but the look is still very nice. The only drawback of the material I find is the inner lining, which looks pretty cheap, but that doesn't really bother me as it's hardly visible from the outside of the backpack. The durability of the fabric also means it keeps its shape and never looks tattered, even when I don't have much in it. It's big enough for my 17" laptop and I can strap it on which is great as the laptop is very secure when inside; It's a bit cramped, but you can tell the laptop isn't going anywhere. Even with my laptop it is very roomy and also has front and side pockets. It's handy to slip a phone into the side pockets, but you won't fit anything like a water bottle (even a thin one) as the fabric doesn't flex at all. It seems like it will last a long time so I am very happy with my purchase.
