When my 6 year old son wrote Santa a letter he said he really wanted Santa to bring him one gift - a bell from his sleigh. Santa has worked around our house bringing gifts that elves can actually make (elves are my husband and I; we have crocheted, knitted, etc. wooden toys). So when he asked for a bell, I knew he needed it. to be something special. I ordered 2 at the very last moment but they did it with a head start of several days. These bells exceeded all expectations. From a pretty box that can be opened again and again, with a ribbon at the top, to green tissue paper and a velvet pouch, you'll find a heavy silver bell on a leather tie that looks fresh, freshly cut in a sleigh. The look on my kids faces as they started opening the boxes was enough to tell me how special these wind chimes really are. Then they put the bell to her ear and rang it, releasing real Christmas magic. They sound nice, not annoying or piercing. I know these bells will be a real keepsake that my children will treasure for many years to come and I would not be surprised if one day they become family heirlooms passed down to my children's children.
