Review on πŸ’‡ Layrite Superhold Pomade - 4oz by Molly Kaye

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best palmade compared to others.

I first compared this product to several palms and creams that I bought at the same time to make a comparison. I have a full head of gray and black, curly, neck length hair and am 69 years old. Of all the products I have used this is by far the best. Suavesito came the closest with a firm hold, but I've decided not to buy it again with Layrite. The tea tree conditioning pomade was a huge disappointment compared to their amazing shampoo. The tea tree was separated in a jar over time, was the most expensive, helped a bit with the frizz and lasted the least on my hair. But I still buy shampoo and hand cream. When I left the house, the tea tree holder usually didn't work even before I got in the car. Everyone has the same taste. However as I have a problem with gray hair and frizzy hair it was easier to work with Layrite as my gray hair is less manageable now. The black hair is still working with. Leirite stayed in Florida through the wind and rain and when I woke up the next day my wife said my hair was looking its best. I've compared it to Sebastian's ninth potion which is a great product but lacks support but makes up for the fluffiness. The curl lotion didn't have enough support and didn't help with the look, hold or curl. Shine Frizz Remedy was the worst and most expensive and I had problems with the dispenser (avoid). Lanza Healing Style Lockencreme had no hold, didn't help at all against frizz and was useless for my hair. Out of all the products above, my wife and I clearly consider Layrite to be the best product for me to fix and eliminate frizz.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
