Great budget prime lens. For more than a year now it has been a staff member on the D5100. Look for flaws in it for its price is not worth it. It was taken as a replacement for 18-55, butcomuld notcommpletely replace it. Sometimes there is not enough wide angle. It performed well at family celebrations, especially when paired with a flash.
