Continuous. We often noticed it and it is still intact. Don't buy this.
Strong. It's been dropped on me and my family so many times, I guarantee it's tough. Unfortunately it doesn't last. I've tried putting it firmly in the tub many times and it didn't hold. Waste of money and communication with seller is waste of time. They asked a question, I answered it and I never heard from them again. Try a store where you can actually return it. We missed the return deadline because my son kept hanging it up and didn't tell me he regularly dropped it. It was also driven well on several occasions. Luckily is he stubborn? Do not use it on young children or the elderly. Or just don't use it. Should have been withdrawn.
