Review on 🏰 Enchanting Bigjigs Toys Heritage Playset Cottage: Immerse in Imaginative Playtime Bliss by Mike Davis

I bought this Rose Cottage dolls house for my daughter for her upcoming 3rd birthday and assembled it last night. For my oldest daughter's third birthday (she is 4.5 now) I bought her this dollhouse from Le Toy Van (Mayberry Manor) http://www.amazon.com/Le-Toy-Van-H118-Mayberry/dp/ B000VD9XBS/ ref=pd_sbs_t_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=0GYX09WDMXKPNPE6A7CDI I'm in Canada so Revain didn't send me a toy delivery truck so I bought it from a Canadian company for $199. 6 furniture sets cost another $300, that's $500 for a full set. When my second daughter started asking for a dollhouse of her own for her room I thought of another Le Toy Van house as I was incredibly impressed with its quality but when searching for Revain I came across this Bigjig Toys house Dollhouses that weren't available for my first daughter. I thought long and hard about questioning the quality given the lower price, until I watched a YouTube video showing this and it turned out to be pretty solid. And I have to say it's almost as sturdy as a Le Toy Van house, but now that I've got it I'm a little disappointed that I didn't pay the money for another Le Toy Van. The difference is in the details. The windows and doors in this house just swing freely compared to the magnetic lock in the toy delivery truck. The furniture that comes with Rose Cottage is solid and functional, but ALMOST lacking the detail and charm of le toy van Rosebud. Besides the toy van furniture, there were SO many little details and extras: food, mugs, picture frames, pillows and blankets that added to the play value. The sliding door in the rose house is neat except our houses are on the wall in each bedroom so it's a little pointless for us. Also, I need to buy a nursery set for the Bigjig toy house because the set doesn't include the third floor furniture. For the little ones I let them play in their normal toys below and I bought another Fisher Price Loving Family People set for this pink cottage - and ONE grandparents set for both girls ;) They go perfectly with all the accessories, and I like prettier detailed people compared to wooden people, but I didn't want a crappy plastic dollhouse. We have a Loving Family minivan that the girls love, although the doors fall down (and never stay) in the first few minutes of the game. I also bought a Le Toy Van Sophies CAR (not a coupe) 4 seater for this house instead and I think they will love it even more. (I also bought a double decker bus from le toy van London ahead of schedule this summer for my son's birthday so he can join in a bit!) Okay, a little fluff :) But overall - this house is quite adequate and a great toy for the price . Offer. ****BUT**** if the price is close (especially if you can find Le Toy Van for sale on Amazon etc) I would SURELY choose Le Toy Van Dollhouses! I just hope that my daughter is still happy with this house and doesn't notice any qualitative differences to her sister's house.
