I needed something temporary as we are in the process of moving and collecting our larger/more complex items. Our TV's speakers couldn't handle it, so I decided to buy a small soundbar for a temporary boost in sound. This is probably my surprise buy of the year in terms of expectations and reality. Pros: - crisp/clear sound - good for movie dialogue - solid bass - music sounds amazing - small footprint * the subwoofer is larger than expected but the soundbar itself is quite small and perfect if you need to hide it in some furniture - price and Value - I was expecting very little from this price point but to be honest my expectations were exceeded Cons: - as I said the subwoofer is larger than I expected but not a huge issue - I specifically need something with a digital optical audio input for this This device did as advertised. An HDMI input would have been nice - but don't deduct a star for that, because that was known at the time of purchase. Eventually after moving to a new house this will either go to the kids playroom, garage gym sound and/or we will use it for our backyard "outdoor projection nights" .
