I bought this collar in March 2021 (after another cheaper PatPet color stopped working). We rarely use it in the field and sometimes in the water. The shock level is set to the lowest level because it is used to the beep. In July 2021 the collar started to shock her I think at the highest level because she cried and jumped in pain. I removed the collar as quickly as I could and it continued to throb and vibrate for about a minute or so before completely disengaging. When this incident happened, the remote control was either hanging on a hook on the wall or touching it. Concerned, I contacted the company's support team through their website and offered to send them the broken collar for inspection so they could make sure it never happens again. I still haven't received an answer. I will never use anything from this brand again.
