It is made of metal, connects without any problems, works stably and reliably, up to the Always Connected Device, and works very quickly. Does such a device have to be so reliable and well designed? Well, depending on your workflow, then yes. This device is designed to be thrown in a camera bag and improve workflow when switching maps and editing in the field. And "in the field" can be a whole day of shooting. (for fun or work), a full weekend or a week-long outdoor shoot. It's overkill at home but hard to beat for field training
