Review on Rear Leveling Blocks Compatible 2004 2019 by Threlkeld Drauch

too much. for chassis

After installing these spacers on my 2007 F150 XLT, my suspension became stiff with the top links almost touching the coil springs when the suspension was fully extended. It was also difficult to reinstall the strut/spacer assembly back into the truck. I didn't like them, so I took them off and cut them down to about 1.1" thick on a lathe (I felt reducing their thickness would compromise strength, otherwise I would have gone down to 1" thick). After reinstalling the modified spacer, the suspension is more in line with the original configuration, clearance is better and easier to adjust, the truck now looks more level instead of being noticeably higher in the front than the rear. Suspension Feel - I went from no lift spacers to installed lift spacers and then back to lift spacers and then back to modified lift spacers that installed in a short amount of time. There was a small but noticeable difference in ride quality. I expect results may vary based on vehicle trim, vehicle weight, wishbone angle, and tire load capacity. My truck was a relatively light, low-mileage F-150 with E-rated tires, and its suspension rode fairly high.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Expensive
