I bought this a year ago and wanted to wait that long to see how it would perform over time. Let me start by saying that I have a medium sized dog that sheds a lot and two children under the age of two who find this "robot" as they call it adorable. Other than that, this robot held up amazingly well. In normal suction mode, it picks up crumbs and dog hair from hardwoods well. But not very good on carpet. If you put the robot in max mode, you can see dog fur in a 5 radius around the robot being pulled in. So this works great in corners and under my wooden sofa in the living room. Speaking of the sofa, it's short enough to fit underneath. The only time it's hanging up there that I have to fish it out is when it's sucking on a sock or piece of baby clothes and gets pushed up and pinched. Max mode is not much louder than normal mode and much quieter than a regular vacuum. In our children's room we have a thick fluffy carpet and we have to use the maximum setting or it doesn't get anything because it's too thick. But the most interesting thing is the automatic suction, it feels like it needs to be adjusted and it increases the suction to the maximum mode and perfectly cleans the children's room, sometimes it takes too long and we have to adjust it ourselves. We live in a large 2 bedroom apartment and even after a year of cleaning the apartment twice a week she still gets every room until the battery dies. Sometimes he comes back and sometimes we have to drag him out of the room because he died there. You can tell where the bedrooms are being cleaned by the suction power and the lines on the carpet. This product is also very durable and comes with spare parts in a box along with magnetic safety lanyards. I didn't have to use lines so I can't talk about that. But I throw away the dust box after each use and I clean the robot once a month to check it and see if anything is broken. A year later I didn't have to change anything and the battery lasted. My oldest son (2 years old) corners the robot and just bounces it off his feet and steps on it and tries to ride it like a surfboard. My youngest loves to throw toys at him when he's cleaning his bedroom and the 50kg dogs keep stepping on him. And the record is broken. I find that it took several attempts to find a good spot for the charging station. The robot needs about two meters of free space on all three sides in order to find it optimally. We tried other places in the apartment and the robot couldn't find it when it needed to be charged. I highly recommend this robot. Just empty the dust box after each use and fully clean the robot once a month. Take apart everything that can be replaced, trim the hair and make sure it can spin freely, and put it back together. It has held up great for over a year and I will update again in a year.
