Very happy with the result of this kit. I ripped out the bolt hole on a Brembo caliper and this kit worked great to fix it. Was able to straight drill the hole with a recommended Vermont American 31/64 bit in a hand drill with a caliper in a vise. Cleaned the hole and sprayed the Remington Gun Oil I had on hand to lubricate the faucet. I lowered the faucet a quarter turn at a time using a 12 point 11mm socket and then turned it slightly, slowly but the threads cut perfectly. Then cleaned again with brake cleaner to remove the oil from the threads so the Loctite had a clean surface to stick to. I coated the freshly cut threads with Loctite. Then, using a 12-point 10mm socket over the helicoil insertion tool, I screwed the coil to level with the top and snapped off the bottom tab. I left that setting for 24 hours and then installed the caliper with the stock bolt with no problems, about 80lb/ft of torque and the insert wouldn't budge and held up.
