This faucet is much bigger than it appears. Think of a LARGE slice of toast and you'll have an idea of how big it is. I would have preferred it to have been about 30% smaller.The recommended base plate is a very, very TIGHT fit. The only way to get the base plate on is to put in the anchor screws first to the faucet, then the base plate, and THEN the hoses. This complete opposite to what you naturally do and there is nothing at all in the instructions about it.
