Ruins my Wüsthof knives
All my kitchen knives are from Wüsthof. They make good knives. So they automatically assume they're just putting their name on a quality sharpener, right? I thought to myself. After a few months of use, I developed nicks on the blade of my knives. I had to take my knives to a professional to fix the damage. He told me that this type of sharpener was the worst thing you could buy (he should know. He has been sharpening knives professionally for over thirty years). He recommended the Spyderco Sharpmaker as an inexpensive home sharpening system. i bought one And i love it.
