The key fob falls apart and eventually the key itself falls out. The electronics were ok. This replacement worked great. Simply replace the old electronics inside with a new battery case. Then find a place to carve the key blank that you will receive. By the way, many Ace hardware stores will cut you a new Honda car key at a bargain price. It's a lot cheaper and better than going to a Honda dealer.
