Sage green, a little darker in real life looks bright in my light but I didn't want anything too dark or too light and it's perfect for me. If you want a bright sage green this isn't for you, but if you don't mind a darker option this is perfect. Okay, first of all, I LOVE THIS BLANKET! I washed it before putting it on the bed because that's what I do too. I washed it in cold water with fabric softener and detergent and dried it on high speed on the anti-crease setting. It's very soft and I've looked all over Revain for a decent blanket and I can honestly say it's the best it can be and I'm not saying I'm bad. I bought a duvet cover at a pottery barn for $81. it was the ivory color that bored me and it wasn't as soft as this one. It even holds the lavender scent of my laundry well. I thought the bows would look girly but you tie them yourself so you can make them look however you like. The blanket opens at the side of the loops, but it has a flap that tucks it in so it can't just fall out. I'll let you know how it's doing in a month, but in the meantime buy it!
