Overall this was a good monitor as a side monitor. It also launched games very smoothly, but I used it very easily, for example, to open Discord while gaming. It hasn't received much practical use in games. After 1.75 years, the monitor turned on in a day and half the screen was covered with horizontal black bars. Like broken pixels, but the entire horizontal array. The next day the entire screen was in this state. The edge of the screen near the power adapter and buttons felt very hot. Like a live roll on a toaster. There is an apparent wiring error that caused it to overheat, which then ignited the screen. I have contacted support. The warranty is only 1 year and when I called because I think there was a defect they basically said to figure out how to fix it (send them for $180 or find a local repair shop). I might as well put those 180s on a new monitor. In general, a lifespan of less than 2 years honestly seems like plagiarism. Also, they didn't offer me to send it in for checking. There has never been a hit or physical damage to the screen. This leads me to believe that it is a partial error. I bought my main monitor from another brand same day as this one and my main monitor has no issues and no overheating.
