So, I've been using this brush for a good 5 months now. The brush keeps what it promises. The thing is, it's horse hair. This makes them softer than boar bristles. It is very good and effective for short beards or soft hair; I have VERY coarse hair. This is amazing for the mustache! If you have coarse hair or an inch of beard or longer hair, this won't work for you. You can try, but don't blame the product if it doesn't work. Breakdown in pros and cons: Pros: Good spreader of beard oil. Hair stays in the brush, I have had several dandruff for over 5 months. (8 hairs to be exact). Very handy and portable. great price Cons: Not suitable for men with long beards, even if they have soft and fine hair Hair can have a strong odor. Not very easy to clean. Can't be a dual purpose brush that works on both head hair and facial hair.
