Works on a rough wooden surface
With this product we dusted and polished the rough pine interior walls of the cabin. Good work. "Real" skins do not tear like synthetics. While the skin soaked up the polish and was a bit stiff when drying. it wasn't that tough and could be used over and over again. We cut large, irregularly shaped pieces into quarters for use. The treated skin has a distinct odor when wet, but that was not a problem for us. After drying, the smell is not strong. There was no longer any smell on the walls. We did not seal the skin in a sealed pouch between uses. Would buy again.
