I like the ability to choose different versions of JetDirve for my needs, especially the ability to choose a "longer" version so it's easy for inserting or removing hard drives from laptop slots. I have a MacBook Air 13", a MacBook Pro Retina 13", and a MacBook Pro 15" Retina at home, all mid to late 2013. For my MacBook Pro 15, the 'correct' version should be JetDrive Lite 360 looking at its specs on the manufacturer's website, I noticed that the Lite 350 version is actually slightly longer, and many online reviews have mentioned, that these drives can be difficult to remove if they are too tight and close to the edge of the MacBook. Since I use digital cameras a lot, I need an SD card slot to load my camera's memory card. I don't want to mess around with removing the card from the card slot. The Lite 350 version protrudes about 3-4mm from the slot, but the easy disassembly will save me a lot of time and headaches in the long run. So far I have never encountered any bumps or obstacles through the small ledge. Same goes for our MacBook Pro Retina 13", which was supposed to use the Lite 330, but I got a Lite 360 for it to make sure I had extra edge hold. In fact, our MacBook Air was supposed to use the Lite 130, which longest version, and they nestle snugly against the edge of the MacBook: so snug, they're the hardest thing to pull out! These cards fit snugly into the MacBook's SD card slot and are very unlikely to be accidentally removed or damaged through daily use or wear and tear. I'll admit some people don't like the look of the map, but you have another benefit: you can tell the printed map size by the adhesive strips, which makes it easy for me to tell which map I'm using without having to look through the finder to go! You don't have to talk about performance anymore. These cards are very fast and I have no problem watching full screen HD video from the drive. I highly recommend it to all MacBook users.
