Sit tight, sure. Write speed is inconsistent but read is excellent

This is a great product especially for Macbook Air owners who are always short on space. This is probably the cheapest way to double or nearly triple your available storage for under $100, assuming you don't have to use your Mac's SD card slot. side of your Macbook Pro or Macbook Air (make sure you select the correct version for your Mac model). The card stays firmly in place and requires little effort to remove - I found running a fingernail along the sides was enough to dislodge it. I'mโ€ฆ

Good memory expansion, but .

I bought the 128GB version of this card to use on my MacBook Pro. It sits comfortably in the SD slot flush with the side of the laptop and is barely noticeable, and since I also use Transcend cards in my digital camera and haven't had any issues with them, I felt comfortable using one of their cards as expansion storage. .I bought this specifically to store the raw digital images my family takes when traveling for processing so they don't take up space on my primary SSD which is only 512GB. So far so good (Edit: 1 year later, still good)

So far, after four weeks of use, it's working really well. When I got my Retina Macbook Pro I was disappointed with the choice of SSD capacity and have always resented the work required to maintain at least 10GB of free space needed to hibernate a RAM image to write to storage (especially when Apple is so generous in using large amounts of storage space for data libraries, portable backups, photo streams, and the like). Having an extra 128GB on hand is a lifesaver. You need to make a formatting

Perfect fit, with a little protruding on purpose!

I like the ability to choose different versions of JetDirve to suit my needs, especially the ability to choose a "longer" version so I can easily pop drives in and out of the laptop's slots. I have a MacBook Air 13", a MacBook Pro Retina 13", and a MacBook Pro 15" Retina at home, all mid to late 2013. For my MacBook Pro 15 the "correct" version should be JetDrive Lite. 360. After checking the specs on the manufacturer's website, I found that the Lite 350 version is actually slightly longer, and

Inexpensive upgrade to MacBook Pro and Air

One of the few downsides of Mac computers with solid-state drives is the relatively small amount of internal storage. In an age where 500GB is the norm and even 1TB is commonplace, a 256GB drive isn't much. When I bought my 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, I explained that with iCloud and other cloud storage options, losing half my hard drive would be offset by the increased speed and reliability of the SSD. To a certain extent, these assumptions were correct. However, I often findโ€ฆ
