Review on SYLVANIA SilverStar Headlight Performance Replacement by Seth Wood

The headlight is very bright, with a good directivity pattern and a sharp cut-off, but reliability is questionable. Part of the low beam failed after a few hours of use. It's Sylvana, but it's made in China. I have requested a warranty return and will update the post when I deal with the seller. I am aware that with every product there is a certain percentage of failures due to infant mortality and this may not be indicative of the overall quality of the product. It just sucks if it's my purchase. Changed to 5 stars. 8/21/2018 I just spoke to Osram (Sylvania) and they will replace the headlight for free under their 12 month warranty. Good customer service from both seller and Sylvania. As mentioned, the headlight is bright, with a good beam pattern and a sharp edge, and a definite improvement over OEM sealed emitters.
