Very good.: Lamps

I like it. Smooth, well balanced beam with good distance. They are sealed 12.8v low/high beam 40/60. The light is neutral white and easy on the eye, bright enough but not disturbing oncoming traffic. Much better than those regular GE flashlights sold in stores in yellow boxes. I would buy again. these lights or others for that matter.

ATTENTION! Will not fit MG headlights

These Chinese made headlights will not fit my 1973 MGB headlights. The three mounting tabs molded into the back of the bulb are turned a few degrees more clockwise than the tabs on a standard sealed beam. As a result, the bulb sits askew and the light pattern shifts from horizontal - bottom left to top right. That may not be the case for all cars, but it was the case with mine. I'll send them back and take the standard sealed beams.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Not trendy

Very efficient lamp for dark roads and landscapes. The lamp will become a little dimmer after years of use. For optimal brightness, it's probably best to replace them after four years. Much cheaper than LED light bulb for bright white light. Interestingly, the filament has a double seal. The lens is sealed and there is a secondary seal around the bulb. If beating out the stone causes the outer lens to fail, there is an inner glass enclosure around the filament to prevent light leakage. If the…

Low beam failed after 2 hours of use: Resolved

The headlight is very bright, with a good directivity pattern and a sharp cut-off, but reliability is questionable. Part of the low beam failed after a few hours of use. It's Sylvana, but it's made in China. I have requested a warranty return and will update the post when I deal with the seller. I am aware that with every product there is a certain percentage of failures due to infant mortality and this may not be indicative of the overall quality of the product. It just sucks if it's my…

Light up the night!

I used these to replace the stock headlights on my 2006 Jeep TJ. I am planning on retrofitting the fog lights but installed them first to see if there is a difference! It's literally a night and day difference from stock headlights! I checked them out after just installing one and the other still had the old OEM light and you can tell a HUGE difference! They are white and bright while the originals are yellow and matte. Can't wait to explore the dark back streets to see the difference. Overall…
