Definitely a joy to own!

I bought this little pump because I didn't want to use an airbag to inflate my sleeping pad. I can't help but understand why these pads don't have a standard thread for using a small lightweight hand bike pump. They are sold in most sporting goods stores. It seems a logical choice not to collect the air in the bag. I think the airbag works for most people but not for me. It bothers me. So of course I wanted this little pump. The light on it is very bright on high settings, and low settings seem mediocre for use in your tent. I will most likely use low settings. This alone saved me money on the purchase of a tent lantern. Although you can find cheap options. The pump itself works great. My sleeping pad and pillow inflated in about two minutes. The valve mounts didn't attach very well to the sleeping mat or pillow I own and I have to hold onto it for it to fully inflate. That's the only downside besides the price. I think this pump could cost a lot less. $15-20 would make me feel better about the price. This is because I feel like the plastic material this little pump is made out of feels like it might crack if dropped on a rock or hard surface. Especially the little nozzle that the valves are attached to. As long as you take good care of your pump and don't drop it, you should be fine. It's not that fragile, but it's not that strong either, if you get what I mean. Also worth mentioning: the vacuum function also helps to empty my sleeping pad. I can rate this feature for what it's worth. So is this pump worth it? My answer is yes. I want to pay less. my answer is yes Am I happy with that? Yes. I plan to use it a lot. You can even use it to start a fire by blowing air into the kindling.
