New hob just installed
It's beautiful. Looks like I was hoping for that. Now that I have cooked several dishes on it, I can say that I am very satisfied with this hob. The instructions made me worry it would be difficult to use and would ruin the beautiful finish, but I had no fear. I used old pots I already had (collection from 62 years of marriage) and it worked fine. The first thing I did was let the pot boil. The instructions warn against spilling LIQUIDS on the hot hob. But with normal soapy water everything was ok. :) Of course I didn't wait, I cleaned it once the top was cool enough not to burn yourself, but it wasn't cool. I'm afraid if I let it cool the slime won't wash off as easily. ;) I love my new hob!
