Fits where the old GE 30 " hob was

GE JP3030SJSS 30" electric hob - easy installation. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it works fine. One of the reasons we chose it is because the review for CU/CR was positive. There were a few dings and dings in the bottom sheet metal, but this doesn't affect fit, form, or function. One thing that should be specified more in the instructions is the size of the flexible conduit connection, which is nominally 1/2 inch (roughly 7/8 inch OD). They call 1 inch which is the outside…

So far so good with stoves, ovens and hobs

So far I'm quite happy with the camper. I would have preferred a digitally controlled model, but there was a $500 price difference for essentially the same device. And you really need to be a bit of a "plumber" to get under the cabinet and make the connections. With three color coded wires in the junction box and everything is fine. Otherwise it fits perfectly in the hole in my countertop and looks very attractive. And most importantly, all the elements warmed up, as expected.

Easy to use and clean - great buy!

I did some research to find the right cookbook for our home. This model had mostly positive reviews on various sites. It's also one of the most scratch-resistant radiant heat cooktops on the market. I wanted to use my Revere Ware pots so I have a radiant stove instead of an induction stove. I ended up buying stainless steel pans because Revere Ware can damage this model over time. The Revain's price was the best, as was the five-year warranty. I like to cook with him. Things seem to cook faster

Great replacement cooktop

This cooktop was purchased to replace a GE cooktop which has probably been in our home since it was built in 2002. It fit perfectly and my husband found it pretty easy to connect. it was a little thicker in depth so I had to grab some cooking utensils from the drawer underneath, but that didn't really matter. I personally love the look of the stainless steel knobs compared to my old plain black ones. I've had a cooktop for 3 years (when we moved into our house) and I've found that as long as…

New hob just installed

It's beautiful. Looks like I was hoping for that. Now that I have cooked several dishes on it, I can say that I am very satisfied with this hob. The instructions made me worry it would be difficult to use and would ruin the beautiful finish, but I had no fear. I used old pots I already had (collection from 62 years of marriage) and it worked fine. The first thing I did was let the pot boil. The instructions warn against spilling LIQUIDS on the hot hob. But with normal soapy water everything was

I particularly liked the stainless steel handles and the workmanship

I ordered 2 different ones. The Frigidaire was more expensive and came with a fifth burner. I thought it would come in handy. I was afraid it wouldn't arrive in time for my kitchen renovation so I bought this GE because it was on Prime. Well, they both arrived at the same time. So after opening both boxes, GE looked a lot prettier. I particularly liked the handles and the stainless steel finish. It's going really well. The Frigidaire has big chunky black plastic handles that look silly. I was…
