I bought this for a late 50's standard American basin faucet. Brass feels comfortable at the end of the faucet. That looks great! The 2.2 GPM flow is ideal when you really want to flush something down the sink. Here is a little tip for the installation. After removing the old aerator, clean the inside of the faucet well with a paper towel and household cleaner. You will be surprised how much garbage has accumulated there. Rinse well and then dry the inside of the faucet. The next step is to take the black rubber gasket and insert it into the faucet hole. Then screw the new aerator onto the tap. Sometimes it's a lot easier to stuff this gasket first than to lay it on the aerator and then squeeze it while spinning the new part. Hope that helps!
