Blue Threadlocker can be used to prevent accidental loosening of metal-to-metal screws that otherwise wear out over time due to would be released from vibrations. This is preferred over red threadlock (in most situations) as it allows screws to be removed later with normal hand tools without having to overheat the torch (as is required with red threadlock). Make sure you are using the correct thread blocker for your application. Also, don't apply too much - just a thin line down the length of the bolt on one side - you're not trying to smear it all over the threads of the bolt like you would with an anti-seize compound. I love that it comes in a small tube which is perfect for the occasional handyman doing minor maintenance on their vehicles. You don't have to go through this, so it doesn't require large bottles, more suited to a full-time mechanic. The price is good and I expect this will work consistently with branded threadlockers.
