I bought these for our new freezer because the current ice trays take up too much space and cannot be removed thanks to the super cold freezer. These new trays are a little smaller than I expected but it worked as they don't take up too much space in the freezer. The smaller size freezes faster and can make more ice quickly. Sometimes it is difficult to squeeze out the ice. I have found that they come off easier if you leave it on for a few minutes. Getting ice cream out of a tray is a strange pleasure. The equivalent of bursting bubble wrap. Smaller ice is more convenient for bottled water. I don't store bowls in the freezer. I bought a small spoon and a thin tall ice bucket from the dollar store. That suits our needs. I'm glad I have these trays. They work well and are perfect for making ice cream quickly while saving space in the freezer.
