Need a LOT of sunlight to work

I was really hopeful these would work for us but I truly think we just don’t get enough sun in New York State to charge these up; as a result, they sometimes don’t come on at all and most of the time come on weakly and look green. Also, there is a streetlight near our house so half the house gets too much light from that for them to activate on. Basically useless for us sadly
