Scratched floors

I bought these because I was tired of cleaning felt floor coverings and heard they work great and don't scratch wooden floors. That is not right. Now after a few months of use I have hundreds of scratches on wooden floors. I know it's a floor protector because I've never had scratches before, and scratches are the length dining room chairs travel to and from the table. Now my floors need to be sanded to remove scratches and resealed. Cleaning felt is much cheaper!
