I am very impressed with this window film. It was so quick and easy, especially after filling in the first window. A few helpful tips: 1. I watched a few tutorial videos on You Tube. They were so helpful and not only told me how to apply the film but also tips on how to prepare etc. I help to see the whole process visually. 2. Make sure the windows are super clean. Do not use paper towels as they leave lint. Microfiber towels work best in my opinion. Also ensure that window frames and sills are clean so that static electricity from the film does not attract dust and dirt particles when the film touches these surfaces.3. I left about 1/16 inch of an unsealed border so the soapy water will run out when you pop the bubbles. Start in the middle and push the bubbles out to the edge. If you leave an empty border, the bubbles will smooth out our surface very quickly.4 I wrapped the edge of the plastic scraper in a microfiber cloth. This will prevent the foil from being scratched when the bubbles are extruded. The smallest change in angle is enough to cause a scratch. Trust me, I learned it the hard way. I'm not usually a patient person when it comes to DIY projects, but this film was easy to install! I take great pride in my work and receive compliments all the time.
