amazingly useful. There were many compliments on walks. Most people asked where they could get the pendant because they knew such a thing existed. so it's also part of the conversation. My dog Charlie loves it and actually seems calmer than with the standard collar. the word "friendly" eases any insecurities you may have about a dog breed and is less likely to go the other way when approached. Overall a really useful and well made product.
