I use these shoes when kayaking, they have good grip and wick water and sand very well. However, it should be noted that the soles are very thin. I do not recommend walking on surfaces with a lot of stones, you will feel each stone almost as if you are not wearing shoes at all. However, as they say, they are great for what they were designed for, which is to use on the shore and to get in and out of the water. The only downside: the glued-in inserts are quickly lost, but can easily be reinserted and reused. Once your foot is properly inserted into the shoe, the insoles tend to stay in place, even if the adhesive no longer holds them. It also makes them easier to clean and de-sand.
