My MacAir was dying after minutes away from a plug. When I went to Apple about a battery replacement, they told me it couldn't be done while I waited- that it would take a day or two. So I looked into replacing the battery myself. This battery and company looked like the best. I watched an iFixit YouTube video on how to do it. It took me awhile to get up the nerve to attempt it but, when I did, the whole process was easy and only took about 15-30 minutes overall. Now my MacAir works well perfectly on battery alone. I haven't tested how many hours it will run on the battery but it's been plenty for my purposes.
