I have a Dell U2711 which is spec'd at 17.02 pounds with stand and cables, probably around 15 pounds without the stand. The hand can hold the monitor, but unfortunately cannot hold the monitor in all positions. When I want to have my 2 27 inch monitors side by side I can't always have them both pointing in the same direction. I contacted the manufacturer and he responded quickly at first. I figured that since both monitors were mounted on the same stand, the arms would need to be fully extended when the monitors were side by side, and that my heavier Dell monitor would not be able to be supported by the arms when fully extended. I figured the solution would be to send me another stand and I could set up 2 monitors in a way that didn't require my arms to be fully extended. They said it wouldn't fix the problem and sent me a replacement arm which they said would be firmer. Installing the hand wasn't easy; I had to completely uninstall and reinstall my monitors, but I did and ran into the exact same issue. Again they sent another hand, same problem again. When I finally told them that the second replacement had the same problem, they stopped responding to me. So if you have 2 monitors that don't come close to the 19lb limit this mount might work for you but if you have even 1 heavy monitor this mount will hold the monitors but be prepared that it will don't want to point your way, making the mount pretty useless.
